Why Waymark

There is a way that seems right to people, but it ends in ruin and destruction. This way is typically marked by greed, control, selfish ambition, and scarcity. There is a better way that exists outside of ourselves and is a path of life. This way flows from the Lord and is marked by love, honor, empowerment, and abundance. Based on Isaiah 2:2-3, Waymark Leadership Consulting focuses on and helps others navigate this divine path so that everyone can thrive and do the most good to those around them.

My name is Danny Breed

Danny Breed is a leadership development strategist, board advisor, and founder of Oak City Academy. With more than 14 years of executive experience as Head of School, he has built a record of shaping healthy leaders, strengthening organizational culture, and guiding teams through meaningful growth. His background includes serving as Corps Chaplain for the 2,300-member Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, completing a $400K capital campaign, $3 million construction project, and consulting with private schools and nonprofits on leadership clarity, team alignment, and governance best practices.

Danny has led more than 40 leadership trainings, coached leaders for five years, and facilitated board governance sessions. He is certified in the GiANT Worldwide 5 Voices Framework and holds both a Business Degree from Texas A&M and an MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His work centers on helping leaders unlock their design, elevate their impact, and build organizations where people are aligned, energized, and positioned to thrive.
